For meeting irrigation requirements in large scale, it is essential to filter water such that they can be channeled to all directions in an effective manner. The main objective of the filter is to prevent clogging of water in the pipes through which they travel. It will surely be of great use to make use of automatic filter units that will sense the level of debris present in the tube and employ suitable cleaning methods. There are many kinds of filter methods that can be used to achieve filtration of water in a large scale. Three of the popular methods that are being used to achieve the same include media filtration process, disk filtration method and centrifugal filtration method. The working principle and effective applications of these methods are illustrated below.

The media filtration unit consists of filter material that is made up of sand and other similar materials. These sand particles are aligned in a special manner and hardened grains will be used. These materials will trap considerable amount of sand and other debris that are present in the water. All these operations can be performed in an automatic manner with the help of the special sensors that are embedded in this unit. As a result of this automatic operation, you will enjoy amazing level of ease in the whole filtration process. This filter unit will be cleaned through back flushing method. The water will be made to flow in the reverse direction, this makes debris and sand particles to get washed away from the unit.

In the disk filtration methods, layers of disks will be piled on top of each other such that graded filtration can be achieved. This also improves the overall efficiency of the filters. Disks that are made up of sand and other similar substances will not be flat on the top surface. There will be certain undulations and bumps present in this surface. This makes it possible to obtain step by step automatic filtration effects. The operating cost of this unit is very less and the savings that are accumulated over a period of years will itself account to the original cost of the equipment. You will surely be satisfied with the working efficiency being provided by this special unit, you can also make DIY. An example of extractor fan speed controller is here.

The cyclone filter units are used to filter water through swirling effect. Water is subjected to centrifugal force in the tank and this makes sand particles to reach outer portions. In this manner, the sand particle reaches the tank and effective filtration will be achieved through this manner. This unit is popularly known as sand collector since large quantity of sand can be collected in an easy manner through this process. This unit also traps considerable amount of organic debris.

These fully automatic drip irrigation filter units make it possible to remove all kinds of debris such as sand particles and organic wasted in an easy manner. Clog free travel of water through pipes can be achieved with the help of this innovative technology.
